Many students live in apartment complexes close to the Pomona Campus. Most of them include such amenities as central air and heating, washer/dryers, wireless Internet, cable, physical fitness facility, club house, etc.:
- Eaves Phillips Ranch apartments: Located on Appian Way, this Los Angeles County apartment community is conveniently located within easy access of the 10, 60, 57 and 71 freeways.
- The Hills of Diamond Bar apartments: Offering distinctive and spacious bedroom apartments with lush landscaping and a serene atmosphere, the apartments are conveniently located near highways, shopping centers, restaurants and gorgeous recreation parks.
Local Attractions
Pomona: The historic citrus grove town of Pomona has blossomed into an engaging and creative place with an abundance of restaurants, cafes, antique shops and art galleries. The historic GO GRAND Fox Theater, a fully restored Art Deco movie palace from 1931, is less than a ten-minute drive from campus and features live music, shows and movies.
Los Angeles: Pomona is just a 30-minute drive to the enchanting city of Los Angeles. Walk in the footsteps of some of America's most famous stars outside the Chinese Theater in Hollywood, see how the magic is made on a tour of the Universal Studios lot, or stroll along Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
Orange County: Come to play in sunny Orange County. Have a beach day surfing on the sun- kissed shore of Newport Beach, enjoy fresh seafood by the sea, tour the surfers' hall of fame at Huntington Beach and visit the famous Disneyland
